I think that we think that life is linear 

Steps in a progression; geometric

If you succeed, you’ll always succeed 

Loves of life last a lifetime, no fear - 

Where you go from here, plotted and expected.

 

But humanity is imperfectly shaped

Theorems can’t dictate the form we take 

Lines curve and repeat, veer off and deviate 

Maybe it's what is proximate and near - 

 

Life is no fear of the nonlinear.
